To the Dark Side

Darth Malgus is the old time predecessor to the respirator and armor that Darth Vader would wear 1,000 years later or something like that in the future when Vader would wear when Obi Wan fucked him up. Alright I know nothing about Darth Malgus I read one book that had him in it but that is about all I have read about him. I liked him because he didn't wear the typical Sith Lord black. His body suit is Grey, a gun metal grey, black and silver. There are some red spots on his suit for his life support system. Malgus's face is a pale grey with dark grey around his eyes. His eyes are red like most Sith's when you can see their eyes. I don't know what his mouth looks like as it is covered with his respirator going all around his head, his nose and mouth are covered. Above his right eye he has a scar or series of scars going up. 

Malgus's shoulder pads are integrated into his chest piece with a soft goods cape, which I much prefer on Star Wars figures. The stomach under the the chest piece is grey with black ribs. His arms are black at the wrists and forearms there is some silver and red for his armor and communication devices. his belt piece is black and silver. The legs are grey with black pads on the the thigh. The shins are armored in black and silver and his boots are black. 

The articulation is what you would expect with a Hasbro Star Wars figure. His head is ball jointed, as well as his shoulders and elbows. He has pegged wrists cause them to swivel or rotate. He has a typical diaper crotch or T-Crotch where his legs only go up and down. He has ball jointed knees and ankles. 

Darth Malgus has a light sabre, a deactivated light sabre hilt and a soft goods cloak. His deactivated light sabre hilt fits on his belt where there is a small hole that a peg that can hang from it. The hooded cloak does not fit on him at all, there is a piece of metal that you can make it fit around Malgus's head but it does not work at all. The light sabre is a great design for this figure, as with the deactivated one, when the light blade comes out there are metal blades.
